This year’s NWA Fashion Week spring events have been canceled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) threat, according to a news release.
“Given the current and rapidly developing situation with the coronavirus, we feel it is no longer possible to pursue our expected level of production while also being able to ensure the safety and well being of all of our participants,” stated the release. “While we are saddened by the need to take these steps, we feel reassured that we will continue to produce groundbreaking creative content under conditions that keep all of our beloved team members, creative producers, and volunteers safe.”
The events, which were scheduled for mid-April, will be rolled into the fall season, set for Oct. 23-24 at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville.
