PRESS ANNOUNCEMENT I FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 

 

INTERFORM ASSEMBLY: A month long series of community events, public performances and art exhibitions in Springdale and Bentonville by local creatives.

 

What: This June, INTERFORM will present ASSEMBLY, the first art and fashion biennial in North America, presented by the Tyson Family Foundation . ASSEMBLY will showcase over 60 regional artists and designers in more than 10 exhibitions and additional retail pop-ups across Northwest Arkansas. Within the framework of the biennial, events and celebrations commemorating Juneteenth and LGBTQ+Pride will take place alongside INTERFORM’s largest fundraiser, Northwest Arkansas Fashion Week. NWAFW will be held June 10th once again at the Momentary in Bentonville. Local and regional fashion designers will be showcased alongside an exhibition from award-winning New York based artist, Firelei Báez for three evenings of shows as well as an installation from world renowned textile artist, Rachel Hayes debuting at the Momentary Quonset Hut

                   In partnership with Music Moves, the University of Arkansas

                  and the Community Cohesion Project

 

Exhibitions are free and open to the public, with galleries open Thursday through Sunday in Springdale and Bentonville the entire month of June. Visiting hours and additional events will be announced at a later date.
