2020 has been a difficult year on many fronts and social distancing can lead to individuals feeling isolated, anxious, and alone. However, we believe open and honest conversations on mental health can help alleviate some of these stressors. Caitlin will be discussing radical compassion, RAIN (Recognition, Allow, Investigate, Nurture), and lead a guided meditation.

Caitlin R. Draper Mattelin, MSW, LCSW, ACAS is a psychotherapist who owns a private practice in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She graduated with both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in social work from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Caitlin specializes in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, anxiety disorders, and perinatal mental health. She holds the clinical credential of Advanced Autism Specialist (ACAS) through the International Bureau of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). Caitlin has been practicing meditation for over 15 years. When she’s not working Caitlin loves to cook, read, and is learning to garden. She probably watches too much reality television. She lives with her husband in Fayetteville.

This presentation is not a substitute for therapy. Call 911 immediately if you believe you are experiencing a mental health emergency. If you are experiencing stress, anxiety, symptoms of depression, trauma, difficulty coping, or other mental health issues, we recommend that you schedule an appointment with a local mental health care provider.
