Encompassing photographers, stylists, models, designers, and production teams, INTERFORM’s NWA Fashion Week establishes itself as a learning department for experience and growth. By doing so, it paves the path for upcoming fashion trends and styles across the region. Every facet of this event seeks to bolster the fashion industry in NWA, fostering a sense of belonging and unity for all involved.

At this time, all auditions are being held in person as we are not accepting any online submissions. During the audition process, participants have their headshots and measurements taken as well as get to showcase their runway talent.

The age requirement to audition is 18 years of age or older. (Note: Participants can audition as long as they turn 18 before 3/28/24)

You do not need experience to audition for NWAFW.

No registration or sign-up is required to audition.

Currently, auditions are held during the specified day unless otherwise noted. Auditions are only held during one day.

The NWAFW auditions are meant to be an exciting experience for all participants, especially for those participating for the first time. Upon arrival at the audition:

  • You will need to scan a QR code located at the entrance and then approach the registration table to receive your number and forms.
  • You will then be directed to the model holding room where you will have your measurements and pictures taken.
  • After this, you will wait to be called into the room where you will walk in front of a panel of judges.

Selected models will be notified via email 5 months before the event date. During the time leading up to the event date, models will be required to attend one model bootcamp training session as well as partner with their designated designer(s) for fittings and additional needs for their show. INTERFORM will communicate with the models for any deadlines and requirements needed to participate in NWAFW in its entirety via email leading up to the event date.

This is not a paid opportunity. Modeling for NWAFW is done on a voluntary basis.

NWA Fashion Week is a fundraising event produced by INTERFORM to raise funds for community programming, events and workshops. INTERFORM is not a professional modeling agency, it is a nonprofit organization that highlights local artists and designers free of charge. Standard industry practices for events like New York Fashion Week, require designers to pay to show their collections on the NYFW platform as well as pay their models. Since designers are able to participate at no charge in Northwest Arkansas Fashion Week, model participation is voluntary.

As an INTERFORM NWAFW model, you will get the opportunity to participate in the biggest fashion event in the area. Selected models get access to free model bootcamps, runway experience, photos for modeling portfolios, and networking opportunities.

The usual NWAFW audition dress code includes wearing a black or white top or tank, jeans, and whatever shoes will help you rock the runway.

Selected NWAFW models do receive a discount to purchase NWAFW tickets.

At this time models selected for NWAFW do not receive free tickets; however, they are provided with a discount code.

If you are selected as a model, you will receive notification of boot camps, which are free of charge,  where you will receive the proper training and coaching from industry professionals to ensure you have the best experience possible at the NWAFW runway.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of shows and have availability during the dates of NWAFW.

INTERFORM is a 501c3 non-profit organization and not a modeling agency or event production company. For all announcements regarding model auditions, artist open calls, and events, please follow us on our social media channels to remain up to date.

Participation in NWAFW is at no cost to designers. INTERFORM provides venue, hair and make-up services, and volunteer models to complete each collection showing at NWAFW each season.

The open call for Spring 2024 NWAFW photographers has closed. We will post any upcoming opportunities as they come up for the future.
